Aaron was our first student to complete not only the Kindergarten Sight-Word book but 1st grade book as well. Our kindergarten book has 176 sight-words in it (22 lists with 8 words on each) while the first grade sight-words book has 220 words (22 lists of 10). We are very proud of Aaron and look forward to watching him continue flourishing as a reader and others in the class making the same extraordinary accomplishment! Last Friday, Mrs. Sims, our principal, called Aaron to the office to test him on random words throughout both books and then presented him with a "Principal's Award." She then came back to our class and represented him with the award in front of his peers. Keep it up!
