100th Day of School

These are a few our our group shots from our 100th day of school! We had so much fun and surprises throughout the day. I think that the students enjoyed themselves as much as I did!

Our principal ordered these glasses from the Oriental Trading Company for all of the kindergarteners to make. We put the basic parts together because the frilly tassles would not stick with glue like the directions suggested. They look cute on the kids but were a bit too big!

As the kids walked into the classroom in the morning, they were greeted by a "Red Carpet" entrance! I created an A-B-C-D pattern from 1-100!

While at recess, our wonderful 6th grade teachers and students blew up 100 balloons for us. The kids were completely surprised upon returning back to class. We later graphed the different colors of the balloons.

I have to say I have some of the best parents in my class this year. Anytime we need something for the kids, they are there to donate! This cake was donated by one family as were the 100 candles. Of course we didn't light them and blow them out but the kids got a kick out of putting 100 candles on!
