We're going to be planting some different flowers, plants, vegetables, and fruits and began with pumpkins!
The students began by placing a small amount of sand in the bottom of their cup to filter the water.
They loved taking sand from the sandbox that is not used! Boy would I love to bring in soil and turn this into a garden!
We then added soil and the students carefully placed five pumpkin seeds into their soil (pointy side down).
After placing all of the pumpkin seeds in their cup, they covered the seeds up.
We then wrote down all of the steps that we had completed and made a prediction on the growth of our plants! :)
